Dreams of Slaying a Pink Fashionista

Hues of orange, red, and yellows flood the streets, dispersing themselves in distinct patterns. Fashion-forward individuals slowly introduce their fall wardrobes to Instagram…while I am still stuck in pink. As much as my soul yearns for multiple shades of pink in every single thing, pink appears quite less in my #ootd. Recently, it seems as if a pink bomb has exploded into my choice of design and aesthetic.

Pink is a pale, red color that is named after a flower. Dianthus plumarius, also known as the common pink, garden pink, or wild pink, is the species of pink-coloured flower in the family, is the flower that the color pink is named after. Surveys that were conducted in the United States and Europe resulted in data that expressed that the color of pink is most often associated with charm, politeness, sensitivity, tenderness, sweetness, childhood, femininity and the romantic.

According to surveys in Europe and the United States, pink is the color most often associated with charm, politeness, sensitivity, tenderness, sweetness, childhood, femininity and the romantic. With all of this pink greatness, why would anyone not want to drown and surround themself with pink?

Fitting into the fashion box of “trendy”, hot pink has made itself as an it-color of the fall season. The fuchsia hue stands tall in my fall wardrobe as I keep it cool, sexy and fun!

Here are some ways to slay pink this fall:

(Click on the images to purchase!)

Wear some pink lipstick! Sweet, juicy, lubricated lips are ALWAYS the move. Mine are painted pink each time I step out. To say I am obsessed with pink lipstick would be an understatement. Be what I think is daring and get that skinny tube to your lips and color away!

Wear a pink dress! How much do I LOVE Vestidos, dresses in Spanish?? Hmmmm, probably more than I love a Sunday afternoon in my pool. Weeellll, leet me think about that and get back to you. Dress-wearing is comfy, cool and daring all at the same time. Especially a pink one. Here are a few options that come in multiple sizes.

Wear a pink coat! I am truly sure that the only good thing about temperatures dropping to below North Pole temperatures are the exquisiteness of coats that we see in the walks of life. We often don’t see many drips of pinky, pink, yet there are so many gems hidden within the pages of the net. Find just a few here.

Here is some hot pink inspiration:

Please find the links for my outfit below. The sweater that I am wearing was purchased from Indigo Style Vintage. Therefore, it is one of a kind. I linked a “Coogi down to my socks” days. My bag is one of few that were made in Dubai. I purchased it about two years ago and I actually wish I could get another because I have worn it so much that some of the crystals are falling off. I have included some links to two other ones with similar vibes.
